Advantage SW is a Limited Liability Partnership owned by four Registered Providers. We were created to deliver better outcomes for social housing customers through collaborative working. Our activities include:
Advantage SW has an extensive range different home designs. These are a range of different size and configuration home types. They have been developed with tenant input and meet or exceed the HCA’s minimum space standards. Other specifiers can use the Advantage SW home designs. So far over 2,700 homes have been built to Advantage SW designs. Designs are continuously updated to remain in compliance with the relevant requirements.
Advantage SW procurement club is a shared service that enables local housing associations and councils to work together to achieve better value through the extra power of a ‘larger client’. Having won the 2009 Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply award for Best Purchasing Initiative by a Smaller Organisation, Advantage SW was shortlisted for Best Financial or Purchasing Team in the Chartered Institute of Housing’s 2010 awards.
Advantage SW has saved its Members over £36m (to 31/3/18).

Everything that we do is guided by the participation of our Members' tenants. Our view is that tenants will be living with the products installed for any years so should have some input into the decision as to which products are installed. This ensures that as far as is possible we help our Members to provide homes that meet and exceed their residents' expectations.
