As an alternative to the Frame Homes/ASW open panel system our other manufacturing partners, Advanced Panel Systems offer their proven closed panel design.

The complete warm frame closed panel wall partition floor and roof system consisting of FSC or PEFC structural graded timber frame. Walls have insulation factory fitted between the 89mm studs, and when combined with an additional insulation slab on the cavity side of the frame the system achieves an excellent thermal performance of 0.25W/m2K.

Wall panels and partitions are also fitted with a high performance 12.5mm gypsum fibre board prepared ready for conventional tape and joint finishing or skim coat plastering. M & E services conduits and outlet boxes, vapour control layers, breather membranes, windows and entrance doors are all factory fitted to ensure a secure and watertight shell immediately after erection.

Party walls are compliant with Robust Standard Details E-WT-1.Load bearing and non load bearing closed panel partitions have an acoustic performance in excess of 40db between rooms for part E.

Floors consist of either solid timber joists or engineered I beams with peel clean P5 decking supplied in cassette format for speedy erection. Prepared for M& E service routes.

Roofs have traditional cut rafter and purlin construction supplied in cassette format for speedy erection providing a clear span with factory fitted sarking boards, a high performance breathable roof membrane and counter batten. Spandrel panels are fitted with required fire break materials.
