The Procurement Consortium

In 2007 Advantage SW successfully applied for a grant from the DCLG’s National Change Agent programme to establish a consortium that would deliver certain procurement projects on behalf of partner Housing Associations in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset:

• Coastline Housing (Kerrier, Cornwall)
• Devon & Cornwall Housing Association (Devon & Cornwall)
• North Devon Homes (North Devon)
• Ocean Housing (Restormel, Cornwall)
• Penwith Housing Association (Penwith, Cornwall)
• Riviera Housing Trust (Torbay, Devon)
• South Somerset Homes (South Somerset)
• Teign Housing (Teignbridge, Devon)
• Tor Homes (South Ham, Devon)
• Westcountry Housing Association (Devon & Cornwall)
• Tarka Housing (Torridge, Devon)

These Housing Associations own almost 50000 homes.

Following the recruitment of the Procurement Manager, in 2008 the consortium will concentrate on supply contracts in the following areas:

• Bathrooms
• Kitchens
• Gas Heating
• Windows & Doors
• Electrical Heating
• New Technology
