Although there are many frame specifications to chose from, Frame Homes in conjunction with AdvantageSW has developed its own closed panel system tailor-made for the social housing market.

The structural timber frame at the heart of each 140mm panel is strong enough to take all the loads of the house itself without needing support from the external cladding allowing the use of traditional materials such as brick, stone or render finishes to give a varied and more attractive street scene.

Each factory engineered 0.25 U-Value panel also includes; inner lining, breather membrane, insulation quilt, sheathing and vapour barrier, all assembled in an ideal dry environment.

Unlike closed systems which come complete with service ducts and conduits inserted through the insulation quilt, Advantage SW panels employ a network of integral frame battens to allow a more flexible first and second fix, prior to on-site finishing with a choice of internal wall boards.
